History and Values
Sitting very firmly with our culture of sustainability at Trevelyan’s are our organic kiwifruit growers. We have been packing organic fruit for almost 30 years now, and in 2020 approximately 60% of the total Zespri Sungold organic crop for New Zealand came through our packhouse facility. Our property is managed organically and our entire processing facility is biogro-certified, including the five packhouses, and 43 coolstores.
Our organic growers have proven they can grow commercially viable kiwifruit under an organic system with the right conditions, so we aim to support them through this journey with our commitment and access to the right knowledge.

We pride ourselves in ensuring ease for growers, from organic certification, orchard management, dedicated grower services and advice, through to post-harvest systems with specialised organic packing processes. We work together with industry partners to ensure the best outcomes for our organic growers.
