COVID-19

Trevelyan’s is an essential service provider during the COVID-19 emergency response.

Things look a bit different at our place right now because we are doing everything we can to keep our people safe. We have special rules for social distancing, personal hygiene, protective equipment and reduced access within and across our site – including in our tearoom.  We are also being very careful about illnesses and looking after anyone who needs extra care.

For reliable, factual and up-to-date information on COVID-19 please visit www.Covid19.govt.nz

Our processes and procedures are continually evolving on a daily basis with the latest Government advice being monitored and implemented.

We have a COVID-19 team dedicated to help with the response. Here are some of the measures we have put in place:

  • 2m physical distancing markers and barriers
  • Temperature checking for all staff on arrival to site
  • Increased cleaning
  • Rigid hand hygiene practices
  • Personal protective equipment available for staff
  • Traceability of staff in workstations
  • Limited access to non workers on site
  • Limiting access to fellow staff – staggered shift and break times.
  • New COVID-19 policy and SOP’s implemented.

Latest Update:

Moving from Level 3 to Level 2 will see many staff returning to work, so long as physical distancing can still be achieved.
